The Alexus Vehicle Maintenance System is the company’s core product. It is an enterprise fleet maintenance management system that allows customers to improve the productivity of vehicles, equipment, facilities, and personnel. The system is geared towards customers who operate a sizable fleet of vehicles and to whom the maintenance and management of these assets is of critical importance.

FEATURES

The product consists of the following integrated modules:

Work Orders
The work order (WO) module is a multipurpose center of activity for maintenance operations. It is designed to help managers balance the requests for service with the available work force as well as the priority of the service requests. It enables managers to allocate unassigned or incomplete work orders to maintenance personnel, keep track of progress of assigned work orders, and reassign work if need be.

Alexus Touch

Alexus touch is a system for collection of data through an interactive touch screen interface. Touch screen computers are installed within easy reach of the technicians work area. The technician then interacts with the computer by touch to obtain work orders and requests, clock in and out, touch system codes that represent the failure and work accomplished codes that indicate task performed.

Preventive Maintenance
This is module helps customers avoid costly repairs by providing information necessary to schedule and track preventive maintenance. The Alexus Preventive Maintenance module was developed with the understanding that "prevention is better than cure" and that timely preventive maintenance leads to more efficient operations and therefore substantial cost-savings.

Warranty Tracking System
The warranty tracking system module provides a system of keeping track of assets and their related warranty information. Therefore managers are able to avoid paying for repair or replacement of a vehicle or part which is still covered under warranty.

Equipment and Component Maintenance Tracking
This module records, tracks activity and cost associated with the maintenance of equipment, auxiliary equipment and associated components. It provides a full featured charge back mechanism for allocating equipment cost to departments, divisions, cost centers or a pool system. The system is so flexible, it allows user-defined business rules that determine how the rates are used or assigned.


Inventory Management
maintains an accurate record keeping system of parts and accessories stocked in the warehouse of an organization. The objective of this system is to optimally manage inventory and minimize storage costs. The system automatically alerts managers when daily transactions cause a reduction in quantity of a particular stock to a point below specified levels.


Purchasing Management

The Alexus Purchasing module is an automated system that enables customers to manage their entire purchasing process. This system works in tandem with the other modules and has the capability to automatically generate purchase orders, compute what to order, when to order and how much to order. It also manages Vendor Information such as address, payment information, performance etc.


Receiving
This module records, tracks activity and cost associated with the maintenance of equipment, auxiliary equipment and associated components. Physical and Cyclical Inventory Module

This module provides customers with an automated process for performing a physical inventory count. It enables the reconciliation of the quantity of inventory stated in the system with the quantity of inventory stated in the books. This flexible user defined module can generate a 1-100% random part number sequence for cycle counts. The module emphasizes minimum data entry through a flexible user workflow driven approach.


Human Resources/Employee
The HR module is a system that provides customers with a powerful decision support tool for planning, scheduling, and identifying opportunities for improvement of operations. Due to the emphasis on optimal resource allocation within the Alexus vehicle maintenance system, it allows for comparative analysis of employee productivity and performance tracking. In addition, the complete integration between the HR and Alexus Touch module provides management with real-time information on personnel operations.
