Affected vehicles: 2004 Cadillac XLR and SRX models equipped with 4.6L V8 engine

Situation: Certain affected vehicles were built with a condition in which an evaporative emissions canister purge solenoid (CPS) circuit malfunction may disable other on-board diagnostics without illuminating the Malfunction Indicator lamp (MIL).
