Joe Holman Recognized as 2011 Citizen of the Year by PENJERDEL

Receiving the 2011 Citizen of the Year award from James H. Carll, chairman of the PENJERDEL board of directors, is Joseph S. Holman, right, chairman and patriarch of Holman Enterprises. The award recognizes Holman for outstanding business and community leadership. PENJERDEL, a civic organization that works to improve and promote the region of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware, also honored Holman for his leadership in making Holman Enterprises one of the largest and most consistent contributors to the civic and charitable life of South Jersey. Among other philanthropic and charitable endeavors, Holman and its employees are perennial top contributors to the local United Way. Holman Enterprises has seven auto dealerships in Burlington County.
