FORD TO DISCONTINUE RANGER
The tentative final order due date for the 2011 Ford Ranger is September 23, 2011, Ford announced. Final production is scheduled to take place on December 22, 2011. This will mark the end of the Ranger’s lifecycle.
As always, final ordering and production dates can change without notice. For this reason we always recommend placing orders well in advance of the deadline.
2011 BUILDOUT AND 2012 STARTUP LINK ADDED TO FLEET LIBRARY
Multiple manufacturers have announced 2011 buildout and 2012 startup dates for some or all of their 2011 model year vehicles. These dates are now available in the ARI Fleet Library.

CHRYSLER REDUCES JOURNEY BASE PRICE
The base price for 2011 Journey Crew and Lux models has been reduced by $995 MSRP because the 3rd row seat is no longer standard. The seat is now optional and can be ordered using option code (AVG) - Flexible Seating Group. The cost of this option is $995.
FORD SYNC AND MYTOUCH SOFTWARE UPDATE NEEDED
Certain 2011 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX models equipped with SYNC and MyTouch technology require a software update, Ford announced.
Beginning the week of January 10th, Ford will send notices to owners of affected vehicles via postal mail, which will instruct them to take their vehicle their Ford dealership to have the system updated free of charge.
This action is part of Ford’s Customer Satisfaction Program. This is not a manufacturer safety recall.
