Numbers tell the story

For a wholesale distribution client with a small fleet made up mostly of compact SUVs and sedans, our strategic consultants developed a comprehensive solution that produced significant savings. We recommended switching out the company’s existing fleet to an alternate make/model for all applications. The team estimated net proceeds from the difference in market and book values, lease payment savings by matching new lease payments to the depreciation rates on existing vehicles, fuel cost savings by calculating fuel consumption on the estimated difference in mpg between vehicle types and existing fleet, and maintenance cost savings due to factory warranty coverage of the alternate vehicle. ARI’s analysis provided our client with over $969,000 in life-of-vehicle savings!

Outside-the-box thinking saves a cool $2 million

ARI came up with an innovative closed-end-lease pool car solution for a fleet of 250 vehicles, saving the client $2 million over the cost of the daily rental program it had replaced.
