Best practices are your best protection
Compliance has moved to the top of management's priority list; a dramatic shift forced by heightened safety consciousness, the environment, corporate ethics and privacy.
Fleet managers must navigate a new wave of complex laws, industry specifications, and internal policies and standards. Failure to meet requirements has serious repercussions, often exposing owners to consequences that include criminal prosecution, civil litigation and loss of business.
ARI has the knowledge base, depth of experience and resources to keep fleets operating in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations, industry specifications, standards and practices, third-party manufacturer warranties and disclaimers, corporate policies and performance standards.
We make certain that client fleets:
- Take advantage of efficiencies and economies made available through new technology and best practices
- Remain strategically aligned with company goals
- Stay legal and safe on the road in support of the company's mission
To ARI, compliance is a requirement, but it's also a resource for establishing best practices. More than just keeping up with regulatory, industry and corporate requirements, on a strategic level, best practices protect and optimize vehicle assets, for the highest lifecycle efficiency at the lowest cost.
Savings in surplus
A global energy company with a decentralized fleet was allowing unit managers to purchase new vehicles while surplus vehicles sat idle in storage. We advised the client to implement a policy of utilizing those vehicles first and streamlined the process for locating them. Now, when a new vehicle is needed, the unit manager is required to look in the database before submitting an order. If a suitable unit is available, the company saves by avoiding unnecessary purchases. A recent analysis showed that this policy has already saved the company $500,000.
