The website makes information (fleet selectors, vehicle status, contact directories and departmental forms, etc.) more easily accessible and actionable. Fleet managers rely on our e-mail “push” programs to create, group and manage driver contacts so they can disseminate fleet announcements and driver automotive news. They can also administer surveys and tests, and get follow-up reports to gauge survey opinions or obtain test scores.

As fleet trends develop or conditions change, our field communication tools enable client staff and drivers to act quickly on time-sensitive events, thus helping to optimize fleet efficiency. Exploring and exploiting the discounts

One client negotiated a discounted pricing arrangement with a glass vendor, but the majority of its drivers were arranging glass repairs using other vendors — at costs that were running 25% higher than those of the preferred vendor. ARI saw the savings opportunity and brought it to our customer’s attention along with a recommendation for a fleet policy educational campaign to steer drivers back to the preferred vendor. This initiative improved the frequency and the quality of driver communications. In the next 12 months, our client saw preferred vendor usage jump from 38% to 56%, representing an overall cash savings of 4.5%.
