Business conditions change. More and tougher requirements and “do-more-with-less” budgets have become the norm. What worked last year won’t necessarily work today, making acquiring fleet vehicles tougher than ever.
Ongoing review of transport needs and application-specific work are key in choosing the right vehicles. No matter how fast-paced your business, our proven fleet services professionals will guide you safely through vehicle evaluation and selection. We look at everything when selecting make and model—from paint to payload to find the right balance—and keep drivers happy, too.
We work with clients through selector development and design of specs that fit the fleet’s specific work, all the way to vehicle delivery. Our secure, web-based PriceNet® system gives customers the option of building fleet vehicles online with up-to-the-minute equipment and invoice data. Right from the beginning of a vehicle’s lifecycle, we help customers determine the optimal turn-in time for the best resale results later.
Function over fashion
Lower-priced alternative with better gas mileage—our work saved this client more than $1 million. An insurance services company came to ARI for help identifying and selecting fleet vehicles that met company needs for cost-effectiveness yet also kept its drivers satisfied. We devised a new selector that replaced existing fleet vehicles with comparable alternatives. The replacements came with a lower price tag and better fuel efficiency, without compromising driver amenities or safety.
Replacement cycling successes
ARI generated depreciation and fleet maintenance cost savings of more than $1 million over a three-year lifecycle for a client with 3,900 light-duty trucks. For a medical services company, we devised a strategy that improved its vehicle selector and replaced its cycling timeframe, producing savings of more than $69,314. Our fleet management also helped a client save $13,676 in annual fuel costs by replacing 83 compact pickup trucks with newer, more fuel-efficient units that improved mileage by 1.7 mpg from 22.6 to 24.3 mpg.
