ARI Asks, “Alexa, how many trucks are in the shop?”

In a recent article, Technical.ly Philly recognizes its New Jersey neighbor, ARI, for offering the fleet management industry’s first voice-based technology.

At the Best In Fleet conference in early November, ARI launched an Alexa app that lets customers get data points from the ARI insights® system using voice commands. ARI developed the app to see how voice recognition and artificial intelligence technologies can create efficiencies in fleet management.

Now clients on the pilot program can ask Amazon’s digital assistant to provide data on fuel usage, accidents, maintenance, downtime and purchase orders for a group of vehicles.
