ARI Recognized as One of the Best Workplaces in Canada for Third Consecutive Year
Annual list honors top employers who foster a workplace culture of camaraderie and collaboration
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ (May 1, 2019) – ARI®, a leading global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, today announced that the company has been named one of the 2019 Best Workplaces™ in Canada by Great Place to Work®. Ranked at number 18 in the 1,000-plus employees category, this marks the third consecutive year ARI has been named to the Canadian list.
“We are incredibly proud to once again be honored as one of the Best Workplaces in Canada. Our culture has always been a key pillar of our corporate philosophy and this recognition further validates that our employees are what makes ARI a truly unique and special place to work,” said Geoff Seely, vice president and general manager, ARI Canada. “Honesty and integrity; teamwork and mutual respect; dedication to exceptional customer service; a continuous focus on improvement; and devotion to the community. These are the values that set our vision and serve as the foundation of everything we do. They’re what connects us and makes our extraordinary culture possible.”
The 2019 Best Workplaces in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work Institute. ARI was praised for its rich, engaging culture that emphasizes a proper work/life balance achieved through trust, flexibility, and open communication between employees and leadership. The Institute also commended ARI for the company’s continued investment in its people through various educational and wellness initiatives along with its award-winning Partners in Excellence® recognition program which engages employees and celebrates their remarkable achievements.
A Great Place to Work certified organization, ARI was also recently named to the 2019 List of Best Workplaces for Giving Back in Canada as well as the 2018 List of the 30 Best Workplaces in Professional Services. This year, over 400 organizations representing more than 300,000 employees participated in the 2019 “Best Workplaces in Canada” survey.
The competition process is based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from confidential employee survey results and the remaining one-third comes from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture. This offers a rigorous representation of the organization from an employee perspective, and an overall portrait of the workplace culture. Together, they provide crucial data relative to five trust-building dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.
