ARI’s Bill Powell Discusses Driverless Cars: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly

ARI’s Bill Powell, director of enterprise architecture, joined panelists for an Automotive News webinar on the future of driverless cars.

Consulting group IHS Automotive believes there will be nearly 54 million self-driving cars on the roads by 2035. The question facing the industry is not if driverless cars will become a reality, but how to overcome the obstacles that lay in the way of widespread adoption.

Along with fellow industry experts, Bill discussed the benefit of driverless cars, the immediate issues in development of connected cars, and what challenges must be resolved before there is widespread adoption.
