Bob Graham, ARI’s Retired Vice President of Remarketing, Receives Industry Leadership Award

Bob Graham, who recently retired from ARI after 42 years of service and who served as Vice President of Remarketing for five years just prior to his retirement, was honored at this year’s Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR) with the Industry Leadership Award.

The award was created to recognize individuals who have demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively with a wide cross-section of the industry and who have lead initiatives for the betterment of remarketing. The award recognized Graham for his leadership as past president of the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) and his lifetime of contribution to the remarketing industry.

During his tenure with ARI, Graham’s talent, insight and leadership ensured that ARI’s remarketing department consistently remained at the forefront of innovation within the industry. He was instrumental in the development of ARI’s web-based services including ARIAutoDirect®, ARIBuyDirect® and in the company’s pioneering commitment to the multiplatform marketplace.

Throughout his career, he also consistently worked to keep remarketing evolving with the times, while at the same time mentoring a new generation of consignors and remarketers. He was an active leader in the industry throughout his career. In 2009, he was named president of the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) and held the position of Chairman from 2011 through 2015.
