Fleet Experts Study the Industry Awakening at the End of 2020
The global market was hit hard at the end of 2020’s first quarter, as the COVID-19 pandemic halted operations in industries across the world. That was felt in fleet, especially as drivers and businesses shuttered for long stretches of time to fight the spread of the virus.
As we look toward the end of 2020, we see businesses beginning to reopen and industries return to a new version of “business as usual”. With that in mind, Canadian automotive publication Autosphere did a study of the fleet economy, tapping fleet specialists to hear their thoughts on everything from remarketing and shipping to ordering and beyond.
ARI’s Canadian Director of Client Relations Romy Bria talked to Autosphere for their article, sharing ARI’s “back to basics” approach to reopening during a global pandemic.
He discussed a variety of options available to get back to those basics, including immediate cash flow options like sale and leaseback, which have become an opportunity to use fleet to quickly build liquidity during a time when cash is hard to come by.
