With the ARI Garage Management System™ (GMS), we help customers make internal and external maintenance events seem like one.

Multi-faceted Solution

Integrated with ARI’s web-based fleet management system, ARI insights®, our GMS helps manage technicians, vehicle preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, unscheduled repairs and parts inventories, while simultaneously consolidating all vendor-in/vendor-out data. By using GMS as part of a multi-faceted maintenance strategy, fleets can track vehicle inventory, view vehicle maintenance histories, manage mechanic and shop time, manage parts inventories, effectively schedule bay time for preventative maintenance, log equipment hours and chassis odometer readings, maintain compliance with inspections and regulatory requirements, measure mechanic productivity and more. ARI hosts the GMS application on our clients’ behalf, performing all upgrades and modifications from our global headquarters. Once up and running in your location, our technology call center staff provides no-cost customer training and technical help for
all ARI systems.

Total Data Integration

Our ARI insights® system integrates all in-house maintenance data with vendor-out information to ensure the lowest possible total cost of ownership. By tracking data from internal and external sources, GMS can better control the overall total cost of ownership. This also provides better control over labor allocation needs – both immediate and long-term.

Better Control Over Inventory

GMS contains a parts inventory system that adjusts inventory levels as parts are applied to work orders. The system prevents work orders from closing without parts being assigned, ensuring a more accurate accounting for parts usage. When inventory reaches a preset reorder point, GMS automatically pushes parts orders to preferred parts vendors. Our system also allows for the enhanced accuracy of scanning and barcode readers.

Improved Scheduling

GMS provides high-level summaries and detailed reports on all mechanic’s hours and tasks. Labor efficiency is improved through system features such as barcoding of parts and repairs, ATA code look up, quick access to all vehicle repair history (whether service is performed in-house or by an outside vendor), automatic routing of repair approvals, system access via web browser, and system help guides.

The system not only simplifies fleet maintenance, it also allows customers to track all vehicle activity – including new vehicle delivery, licensing renewal, IFTA/IRP, DOT and ANSI inspections, accident repairs, vehicle replacement and remarketing.
