What Drives It

The engine behind our fleet maintenance program is ARI Intellifleet®, our core vehicle maintenance system. It’s designed to drive more value in three specific fleet management areas: compliance, managing downtime and negotiating savings. This fully integrated real-time system empowers ARI’s technicians to negotiate better savings on behalf of our fleet customers and identify issues with more precision so your fleet vehicles stay running and on the road.

ARI operates three Technical Resource Centers that are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with a team of over 150 master technicians—more World-Class technicians than any other organization in the world. These technicians act as advocates on your behalf, scrutinizing repairs, verifying the time to complete repairs, reviewing parts pricing, and checking labor rates against manufacturer guidelines, all while keeping your vehicles and drivers safe and compliant.

Proactive Preventative

ARI creates customized preventive maintenance schedules that meet the requirements of your organization, chassis and equipment manufacturer recommendations, and the conditions in which you operate.


When a vehicle goes in for repair, the mechanic performs a preliminary assessment of the problem and contacts our Technical Resource Center for repair authorization.

Flexible Maintenance

Our fleet maintenance management program is flexible so that you can establish your own maintenance parameters. We work with you to set authorization thresholds that tell our technicians when they can authorize repairs that make sense and when they need to escalate the request to you for approval. And, ARI integrates it all with our vehicle replacement programs and “repair versus replace” analysis so our clients can stay on top of then their vehicles may be coming to the end of their useful lifecycle.

ARI’s Open
Vendor Network

Many other fleet management companies have a network of preferred vendors, which restricts the choices you have when you need to get your vehicles repaired. ARI has an open vendor network of more than 90,000 vendors. This includes 38,000 national account locations that provide discounts ranging from 10 to 20 percent off of normal retail prices, and another 52,000 independent vendors across the country, including repair shops in remote areas and vendors who can provide onsite mobile repairs, truck washing, or other specialty services. Vendor performance is monitored and managed on an on-going basis to ensure best-in-class service.

Post Warranty Recovery

ARI’s technicians review all published manufacturer’s campaigns, recalls, and known problems when coordinating vehicle repairs. If a vehicle is eligible for up-front warranty coverage, the technician will direct the driver to the dealership accordingly. If ARI recognizes a pattern of failure on vehicles out of warranty, we will negotiate with the various manufacturers for goodwill payments.

Parts Sourcing

ARI can help you significantly reduce the price you pay for parts by purchasing them directly from wholesale distributors and having them delivered to repair vendors. ARI has partnerships with some of the largest parts suppliers in the world, and our technicians have the ability to order parts directly at the click of a mouse.
